For 19 years Architecture has been the conduit for getting out a simple message: Good Design Changes Everything. The early years of practice for Byron K. Smith, Founder at studiosmith Architecture LLC, included a wide range of pursuits and design challenges. As part of a larger firm, Gresham Smith and Partners, Byron was involved in medical, corporate, institutional, industrial and planning projects both large and small in scale. With Dungan Nequette Architects, in Birmingham, AL, he experienced great exposure from managing a design firm to great projects including Traditional Neighborhood Developments, custom residential, religious projects, branding & design and many others. Good design, the search for beauty, has been that one true light guiding each pursuit in art and architecture and remains as the force behind the design creations in the studio.
